Bio

My real name is Walden Robert Cossotto and I was born on May 14, 1936 in the Bronx, NY to my mother Polly Cosotto. The rest of my family consists of my older sister Nina, her husband Charlie and their 3 kids Vana, Vee Vee and Gary. Mamma and Nina say i've always had talent for music. In fact Mamma used to be in Vaudville and she taught me most of what I know. I think it's pretty obvious that I changed my name when I got into show biz. I was walkin' with my sister Nina and saw a sign that said "Mandarin" with the "man" part burned out. I've set a goal for myself to be a legend by the time i'm 25. I don't like wasting any time because I don't know how much I have left. I have a very close group of friends that consist of my manager Steve "boom boom" Blauner, Hesh Wesser my PR, Dick Lord and his wife Ellen, and then my conductor Dick Burke. Nina and Charlie are on my payroll too, Nina handles my fanmail while Charlie is my valet and road manager. When i'm not on tour, which is very rare, I stay with Mamma and the rest of the family in the home I bought them in Lake Hiawatha, NJ. I'm mostly known as a singer but I'm trying to break into the movies as well...
